Let the Saints remember that great things depend

on their individual exertion, and that they are

called to be co-workers with us and the Holy

Spirit in accomplishing the great work of the

last days; and in consideration of the extent, the blessings and

glories of the same, let every selfish feeling be not only buried,

but

annihilated; and let love to God and man predominate, and reign

triumphant in every mind, that their hearts may become like unto

Enoch's of old, and comprehend all things, present, past and

future, and come behind in no gift, waiting for the coming of the

Lord Jesus Christ. (HC 4:230-31)

I love weekends

Ty is the closest in age to me,so I love talking to him. Aaaand, he brought me back something cool! A scripture case made out of zebra and elephant and ostrich. It's pretty cool. And this cool bracelet. It looks like something you could buy at the fair for a dollar. BUT its not! Its from Africa! On Friday Ty and I went to go visit the new Freeman High School. Its so big and new and different!

Last weekend I went home because Ty just got home from his mission in ... ZIMBABWE!!!So, I got out of class at 12:30 on Thursday and then I drove like a speed demon home. I made it in 6.5 hours, a personal best;) Ty is all tan and tall and he has this funny accent. It was so good to see him.
Somewhere on his mission(:
On Friday Ty and I went to go visit the new Freeman High School. Its so big and new and different! This isn't a very good picture.  Freeman is all scary and big and fancy and stuff. Plus I don't know half of the teachers now. Its a little weird growing up...
And then on Saturday night, a bunch of us went to my Grandma Hanford's for her birfday. She will always share a birfday with my nephew Connor. It was nice. I don't every eat KFC unless I am at my Grandma's house for her birthday. My teeth hurt really bad because I just had my braces tightened. So I had plenty of biscuits and gravy. Yummy!
Ty's homecoming was amazing. Lots of people came, and Ty gave an amazing talk. Then John and I left after sacrament and headed back to R-town. It took us a while because of all the cops. All in all I did not get back to my apt until 1 and then I went to bed around 6. Drinking 44 oz of Diet Coke was not so great of an idea. So then I woke up for my 9 o clock class and then went to bed early the next night(:

THINGS TO BE HAPPY ABOUT~
  • Ty is home and he still likes me!
  • My car is functioning as it should
  • A major project is finished for a class
  • I am going to Yellowstone this  weekend with my roommates
  • General Conference is this weekend- I need some inspiration
  • Comfy shorts

FRIENDS (:

Friendship can be found in times you least expect it from the people you would never believe possible.  this is simply achieved by six simple words that you might recognize...
say what you need to say.
It never fails..
So say what you need to say,
even when your hands are shaking,
even when your faith is broken,
do it with a heart wide open,
and say what you need to say.

Sometimes all it takes is one conversation to change your relationship with someone for always and ever....

Septemberrrrrr

So its been a while....
But I have been really busy. Harvest is over(for me at least!) And I am kind of missing
seeing all the tandems, smiling at all the drivers, and driving past wheat and barley fields. But September is here!

With it is a promise of a good semester. I am excited for my classes, most of
seem pretty interesting. My Humanities class as well as my Climate Change class are not super interesting, but I am required to take them and my professors are pretty cool. I really like my international class, which focuses on Pakistan. I really don't know very much about the Middle East and I am excited to learn more. However, I can tell I will keep busy this semester with my classes. Most of them are only 2 credit classes, but my teachers seem to think they are 3!
My roommates are all sweethearts, I love them all. 4 of them have already roomed together for a while, and 2 of them are sisters, so everyone is just really easy going about stuff, and everyone is willing to chip in where needed. I am so glad because I had a bit of a rough semester before.
I am taking some Education classes, and that is probably one of my favorites. I guess that is a good thing because that is my major(: I am excited about my Special Ed class, not so much my ED 200 class. But, again, the teacher is pretty cool.

THINGS TO BE HAPPY ABOUT:
  • Roommates
  • Good Teachers
  • Ty gets home in a week!!!!
  • My computer is working again
  • I attend BYU-Idaho
  • Priesthood blessings
  • Cousins(:
